Student Simulation Game

Empowering the Next Generation of Critical Infrastructure Leaders

Bridging the Gap Between the Classroom & Industry

ISA is exploring creating an exciting new student competition centered on an immersive, hands-on simulation experience. The concept challenges students to design creative, cutting-edge solutions to real-world problems facing the automation industry today.
Participants would work in a fully interactive virtual environment, where they will assess, analyze and solve real-world automation incidents. Rather than working through theoretical exercises, students would tackle genuine industry challenges, developing practical skills and confidence outside of the classroom.

This competition is designed to bridge the gap between education and industry, allowing students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in a meaningful, real-world context. At the same time, it offers companies a unique chance to connect with emerging talent, contribute to the next generation of automation professionals and help shape the challenges students will solve.

We are still shaping the details of this competition and want to understand interest from companies. We would value hearing if your company would be interested in hosting a team of students to build and design a solution, and what kind of challenge or project might be most valuable to explore together.
